MANTSEMAN ZONAL COUNCIL SPEARHEADS CLEAN-UP EXERCISE TO ENHANCE SANITATION

The Mantseman Zonal Council of the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly last weekend, 5th July, 2025 organized a comprehensive clean-up exercise within the council’s jurisdiction, engaging council members, unit committee members, opinion leaders, and the youth. The initiative tackled poor sanitation in the area, with activities including desilting clogged gutters, weeding bushy areas, and clearing refuse at Pink Lady and New Town Junction to Afariwa Road.

Hon. Irene Owusu Ansah, Chairperson of the Council, expressed gratitude to participants, emphasizing collective responsibility in addressing sanitation challenges. The exercise demonstrates the Council’s commitment to improving residents’ quality of life through enhanced sanitation and environmental management, showcasing the impact of community engagement and collaboration in driving positive change in Ashaiman.
