ASHAIMAN MCE ENGAGES PRIVATE TEACHERS FOR TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE

The Hon. Municipal Chief Executive of Ashaiman, Mr. Freeman Tsekpo, on Wednesday, 26th June 2025, received the leadership of the Ghana National Association of Private Teachers within the municipality. The association visited to congratulate the MCE and pledged their support while seeking collaboration with the Assembly to improve educational outcomes in Ashaiman.

In his remarks, the MCE emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in transforming the municipality. He urged the association to use schools as platforms to promote sanitation awareness and attitudinal change among pupils. He encouraged regular clean-up campaigns and called for a deliberate framework to embed positive behavior in children.

Mr. Tsekpo also highlighted ongoing pavement works on the principal intersection of the Ashaiman main road and assured them of road reshaping and drainage projects post-rainy season. He announced a revenue mobilization initiative involving the regularization of buildings over five years old, urging the association to sensitize communities, noting that increased revenue enables vital development projects.
