The Management of AshMA paid a working visit to Safisana Waste Treatment Plant.

The management of the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly led by the Municipal Chief Executive paid a working visit to Safisana Waste Treatment Plant.

In 2017 Safisana opened its recycling plant in Ghana, the first waste to resource plant in West Africa, serving the community of Ashaiman, a community of about 270000 people in the Greater Accra.

The plant was commissioned by the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive of Ashaiman, Albert Boakye Okyere I. Support of the Ministries of Agriculture and Energy.

The project is financed by the Africa Development Bank and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The facility has grown into a locally managed and economically stable company.

It is expected to serve Ashaiman Municipality, Tema Meteopolis, Kpone Katamanso Municipality and beyond.
