ASHAIMAN MAIN MARKET ROAD UPGRADE: A BOOST FOR TRADE AND ACCESS

The Ashaiman Municipal Assembly, led by MCE Hon. Freeman Tsekpo, together with the Member of Parliament, Hon. Ernest Norgbey, on 10th August 2025 inspected the newly completed road at the Ashaiman Main Market traffic light area. This bustling commercial centre serves thousands of traders, shoppers, and transport operators daily, making the road’s completion a vital achievement for the municipality.

Supervised by the Department of Urban Roads, the project aims to improve traffic flow, ease congestion, and facilitate the smooth movement of goods and people. It forms part of the Assembly’s broader infrastructure drive to modernize market facilities, upgrade drainage systems, and strengthen economic activity in line with the municipality’s rapid growth.
