MEOC PUSHES FOR TIMELY, QUALITY DELIVERY OF ASHAIMAN E-BLOCK PROJECT

The Municipal Education Oversight Committee (MEOC) of the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly on Thursday, 20 November 2025, undertook a crucial site visit to the Community 22 Annex E-Block project to evaluate progress and ensure accountability. Joined by representatives from the Ministry of Education, The Project Consultants, The Project Contractors, Technical officers from the Municipal Works Department, Staff of the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly and community stakeholders, the visit underscored the Assembly’s commitment to providing modern learning infrastructure for the municipality.

The contractor, M-Business Services Limited, reaffirmed their pledge to complete the 24-unit classroom block and ancillary facilities by March 2026. Committee members inspected key furnishing samples, including doors and floor tiles, signaling a hands-on approach to quality assurance. Commendations from the Municipal Director of Education reflected confidence in the ongoing work, but also served as a reminder that timely delivery must not compromise quality. The community awaits this facility with great expectation, and it is vital that all parties sustain the momentum to ensure a safe, conducive, and transformative learning environment for students of Ashaiman.
