AMUI AJOR ZONAL COUNCIL CHAMPIONS CLEAN ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNITY UNITY

The Amui Ajor Zonal Council, under the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly, organized a successful community clean-up exercise aimed at promoting a clean and healthy environment for residents. The initiative brought together community members,led by the Zonal Council Chairman, Abdul-Rashid Numoh Narh, Assembly Members, Unit Committee Members, Assembly Staff and local volunteers to clear weeds, desilt choked gutters, and properly dispose off waste.

The exercise highlighted the Council’s commitment to fostering community participation and responsibility in maintaining environmental hygiene. Residents were encouraged to make clean-up activities a regular habit to prevent diseases and keep the environment safe for all.

The Zonal Council expressed appreciation to all participants and called for stronger collaboration with households and businesses to sustain cleanliness across the area. The Council pledged to intensify public education and continue such exercises to build a cleaner, healthier Amui Ajor for future generations.
