ASHAIMAN MCE DEEPENS HEALTH COLLABORATION FOR SAFER COMMUNITIES AND BETTER NUTRITION
The Hon. Municipal Chief Executive on Wednesday 25th June, 2025 paid a courtesy and working visit to the Ashaiman Health Directorate to strengthen ties and address key health priorities in the municipality. Mr. Freeman Tsekpo engaged with Dr. Sophia Quist, the Municipal Health Director, to discuss pressing health needs and emphasized the Assembly’s commitment to supporting health advocacy and collaborative initiatives for impactful community health improvement.
The Hon. MCE also addressed security at the Tseeblew CHPS compound, highlighting the Assembly’s provision of two security personnel and humorously appealing for an additional officer to bolster safety. This reflects the Assembly’s dedication to ensuring secure health facilities for residents.
Mr. Freeman Tsekpo further discussed enhancing the School Feeding Programme by proposing collaboration with a nutritionist from the Health Directorate. He stressed the importance of joint nutrition education campaigns to improve awareness among parents and school communities. The visit reaffirmed the Assembly’s resolve to tackle health and social issues through strong partnerships.
