MCE ENGAGES ASHAIMAN FIRE SERVICE ON SAFETY & COLLABORATION.
As part of efforts to strengthen community safety and support frontline responders, the Municipal Chief Executive for Ashaiman, Hon. Freeman Tsakpo, yesterday, June 11, 2025, paid a working visit to the Ashaiman Fire Service. His visit aimed to engage with officers, understand their challenges firsthand, and commend them for their unwavering dedication to protecting lives and property.
In an open and constructive dialogue, the officers raised key concerns including limited resources, equipment constraints, and how traffic congestion hampers their emergency response times.
Hon. Freeman Tsakpo emphasized the need for closer collaboration between the Assembly and the Fire Service, especially in public sensitization and decongestion initiatives. These joint efforts, he noted, are essential for ensuring faster emergency responses and safeguarding residents.
The visit served as a timely reminder that, protecting Ashaiman requires unity, coordination, and shared responsibility. Together, let’s continue to support those who stand ready to serve at a moment’s notice.
