On Tuesday, 25th July, and Wednesday, 26th July 2023, the Technical Committee, a subsidiary of the ASHMA Budget Committee, met in preparation towards the statutory Annual Stakeholders’ consultative meeting.
The meeting, spearheaded by the Budget Unit, brought on board all direct users of Fee fixing resolution to discuss reviews on their engagements with ratepayers.
The unit, as well, solicited for inputs on upward or downward adjustments of fees paid by ratepayers, given their Technical know-how.
After several deliberations, the meeting was adjourned with decisions to maintain most of the rate impost within the upper and lower limits set in the national guidelines for 2022 to 2025.
