The Blakpatsona Zone of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Ashaiman, has inaugurated a Disaster Volunteer Club (DVC) at St. Peter Methodist Primary School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exercise, which included education on Disaster Risk Reduction, was held today, 23rd October, 2026, at the school’s premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Municipal Director of NADMO, Ashaiman, Mr. Julius Tettey Awuye led a team from the Municipal Secretariat, together with Zonal Officers, to sensitize pupils on disaster prevention and safety measures in schools within the municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme ended with the successful formation of the Club. The Municipal Director charged the newly inducted members to be ambassadors of safety in their school and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
