Dr. Ernest Norgbey, for a 12-unit classroom block for the Presbyterian school at the Tetteh Nkpa Electoral Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is valued at 4 million Ghana cedis. It is part of efforts to eliminate the shift system education which comes with several challenges to quality of teaching and learning in the municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, slated to be completed within a year, will comprise of twelve (12) unit classrooms, a computer laboratory, girls&#8217; changing rooms, and other ancillary facilities. Dr. Norgbey highlighted the government&#8217;s commitment to enhancing quality and adequate educational infrastructure, citing the school&#8217;s struggles with inadequate facilities, which led to the shift system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also mentioned ongoing support for projects like the Ashaiman Senior High School Assembly Hall and E-block project for Ashaiman Technical School, which is yet to be commissioned. He implored the Municipal Chief Executive, (MCE) Hon. Freeman Tsekpo, to ensure that all government projects are properly monitored and completed accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MCE, was grateful to the President H.E. John Dramani Mahama for releasing 80% of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), amounting to 20 million Ghana cedis for the development of the Ashaiman Municipality.
