The Chief of Ashaiman, Nii Annang Adzor, and the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly on April 16 launched a bold and life-saving initiative to combat the growing menace of opioid abuse in the municipality. Through the Nii Annang Adzor Foundation (NAAF), the Chief unveiled a transformative campaign dubbed \u201cStop Red Before It Stops You\u201d at the Ashaiman Presby Junction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubbed in the local parlance as \u201cWonim Red\u201d, the campaign aims to raise awareness, educate the youth, and promote community-wide action against the destructive wave of opioid consumption, particularly the dangerous abuse of tramadol and other related substances commonly referred to as \u201cred\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
