{"id":1738,"date":"2024-05-29T16:02:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-29T16:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ashma.gov.gh\/?p=1738"},"modified":"2024-06-04T10:57:15","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T10:57:15","slug":"formation-of-ashaiman-municipal-assembly-sub-committees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.ashma.gov.gh\/index.php\/2024\/05\/29\/formation-of-ashaiman-municipal-assembly-sub-committees\/","title":{"rendered":"FORMATION OF ASHAIMAN MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY SUB- COMMITTEES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ashaiman Municipal Assembly held a Special General Assembly meeting on Wednesday, 29<sup>th<\/sup> May 2004, as a continuation of its proceedings on the formation of Sub-Committees of The Assembly and, statutory Committees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sub-Committees Are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Finance and Administration<\/li><li>Social Services<\/li><li>Development Planning<\/li><li>Justice And Security<\/li><li>Works<\/li><li>Environmental And Sanitation<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the proceedings, the following honourable assembly members were elected to be the chairmen of the various committees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>The Finance and Administration<\/strong> Is headed by Hon Charles Kissi the Assembly Member for Nii Man Electoral Area.<\/li><li><strong>Social Service Committee<\/strong> Chairperson \u2013 Hon Salome Nkansah \u2013 Government Appointee<\/li><li><strong>Development Planning Committee \u2013<\/strong> Baba Rabin the Assembly Member for Nii Anang Adjor<\/li><li><strong>Justice And Security Committee<\/strong> \u2013 Hon Freeman Tsekpo, The Assemblyman for Nii Komieteh<\/li><li><strong>Works Committee<\/strong> &#8211; Hon Awudu Mohammed, The Assemblyman for Manmomo<\/li><li><strong>Environmental And Sanitation Committee<\/strong> \u2013 Hon Shadrack Tetteh The Assembly Member for Naa Amui Electoral Area<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Two (2) Assembly Members, Hon Azogi A. Ananga and Hon Sunday Tengah, were elected to be members of The Executive Committee of The Assembly but,&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Chairman of The Agric Sub- Committee was nominated by the members to have a voting right on The Executive Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Public Relations and Compliant Committee Which Is a statutory committee Is Chaired by The Presiding Member of The Assembly, Hon Godwin Tsimese as Required by The Local Government Act, Act 936.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped\">\n<figure
