The management of the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly led by the Municipal Chief Executive paid a working visit to Safisana Waste Treatment Plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017 Safisana opened its recycling plant in Ghana, the first waste to resource plant in West Africa, serving the community of Ashaiman, a community of about 270000 people in the Greater Accra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plant was commissioned by the Hon. Municipal Chief Executive of Ashaiman, Albert Boakye Okyere I. Support of the Ministries of Agriculture and Energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is financed by the Africa Development Bank and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facility has grown into a locally managed and economically stable company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is expected to serve Ashaiman Municipality, Tema Meteopolis, Kpone Katamanso Municipality and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
