Mr. Livingstone Etse Satekla known in the showbiz fraternity as Stonebwoy on Thursday collaborated with the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly (ASHMA) to embark on a massive cleanup to reinforce the Operation Clean your Frontage campaign in the Greater Accra Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cleanup exercise also formed part of activities to precede the forthcoming annual Ashaiman to the World musical concert by the Ghanaian dancehall king Stonebwoy. Speaking to the media in Ashaiman Mr. Satekla mentioned that it was the duty of every citizen to pay critical attention to sanitation issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that proper sanitation practices would ensure healthy lifestyles amongst the residents adding that residents should not wait until they are told to clean their immediate surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stonebwoy who is also the Sanitation Ambassador of the Ashaiman Municipality advised the residents most especially the youth to help make Ashaiman a better place for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Albert Boakye Okyere Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Ashaiman Municipal Assembly (ASHMA) stated that the Municipal Assembly would not relent on punishing individuals who disregard the sanitation by-laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Okyere hinted that the majority of the residents in Ashaiman have complied with the directives of the Operation Clean Your Frontage (OCYF) with a call on the Municipal Environmental Health department to assist the residents as far as proper sanitation practices were concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Municipal Chief Executive assured that the Operation Clean your Frontage campaign has come to stay and residents must embrace it across the municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
